Birch Loop Turner, the magic tool to assist re threading ballet shoe elastic.
HINT: For rethreading elastic through binding of ballet shoes. If you have one end of elastic visible pin this with safety pin so it is not lost in the re threading process. Find the closest end of the elastic inside casing. Open a couple of stitches on the inside throat of the ballet shoe. (You may have to do this a couple of times if the elastic is past the heel curve or beyond side seems). Thread the Loop turner into casing, find the elastic & hook the end to pull through gradually through each insertion point until elastic is completely back through to front of shoe opening. secure both ends of elastic. Re-sew the openings made around the throat of the shoe binding. Yeah!
